Recreation Therapy
Recreation Therapy is an activity-based intervention that promotes the independent physical, cognitive, emotional and social functioning of people with disabilities. Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialists use technology, motor and sensory programs, in both individual and group settings, to enhance current skills and facilitate the establishment of new skills for daily living and community functioning.
St. Joseph’s Recreation Therapy Program offers the following Outpatient Services:
- Movement/Play Therapy
- Adaptive Leisure Training
- Aquatic Therapy
