In 1988, to celebrate a “Century of Loving Care” at St Joseph’s Center, Carl Jones organized a benefit golf tournament. It was both fun and a financial success. Almost 20 years later this annual event, now called the “Carl Jones Memorial” tournament, is carried on by his friends and family. A day of good food and friendly competition, hosted at the Country Club of Scranton, it is considered the area’s premier golf tournament.

The tournament will be held on September 8, 2008.
